# Farming

**Farming Tycoon** was the first component of the Pixel Tycoons universe, and remains the core of the current economy. Farmers grow food, which provides the calories needed in [Collector Adventure](/pt/pixel-tycoons-games/our-games/collector-adventure.md) and [Magic Guild](/pt/pixel-tycoons-games/our-games/magic-guild.md).
