If you have a game key already, open a conversation with the Melting Bot and send the /start
command. Or, follow the detailed instructions below.
The Melting Pot game key costs $1.00, and will allow you to access the game until the end of 2023. Find the drop on NFTHive. You only need one game key - there is no benefit to holding more than one.
After 31 December 2023, the original Melting Pot game key will expire, and new keys will be required biannually. The price of subsequent keys may increase slightly in 2024, depending on the growth of the Melting Pot network.
Please refer to this section to learn about how can you register your wax wallet address.
Next, issue the /sync
command to register your NFT holdings.
You can issue this command up to two times a day.
Every 24 hours you can use the /claim
command to claim Melting Points. The amount you receive depends on the Multiplier Rate of the participating collection, the number of NFTs you hold, and whether or not your NFTs are on cooldown. See the section on Partners and Rates for more details.
If you have any doubts, please post a support request in the Melting Pot section of the PT Help Desk, including screenshots of your actions in the bot, as well as your calculations as to how many points you expected to receive. When making calculations, remember to take into account any schema-specific rates, as well as NFTs you acquired in the previous 24 hours.
You can see all your holdings, both ready to claim and on cooldown, any time by sending the /inv
command.
Whenever you have accumulated 1,000 Melting Points (subject to change after 1 July 2023), the bot will prompt you to issue the /redeem
command. This will remove 1,000 points from your balance, and you will receive a Melting Pot NFT in your wallet.
Use the /inv
command at any time to see how many points you have available.
Once you have two or more Melting Pot NFTs, you can begin blending. See the following sections on blends for more details.
Upon successful /claim
, the response you receive may not reflect the exact number of NFTs in your wallet from each collection. This happens because there is a 24-hour cooldown per asset, not per account. If you received NFTs through trade, secondary markets, or Pixel Tycoons games, there is a chance they will not contribute to your point total until the following day.
